Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified Mechanical Integrity Engineer who is self-motivated and ready to contribute to our team. This position will perform evaluations of aboveground storage tanks, piping systems, and construction activities such as welding and repair activities. This position supports a wide variety of projects, both commercial and government, and may lead inspection field efforts. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, energetic team player and meet the following requirements:

Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license, desired
• Ability and desire to travel periodically to project locations, domestic and international.
• Passport required or ability to get passport.
• 2-5 years of experience inspecting fuel storage tanks and piping, preferred.
• American Petroleum Institute certification (653, 570), preferred.
• AWS Certified welding inspector certification, preferred.
• NDT experience and certifications, preferred.

Experience in the following areas:

• Knowledge of design principles and construction methods related to fuel storage tanks, and fuel piping systems.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced technical writing abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD

Position Requirements:

• Travel to project sites periodically, domestic and international, for varying periods. Ability to travel independently.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces.
• Must be able to sit or stand for sustained period of time.
• Must be able to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps.
• Must be able to walk, stand, crouch on uneven surfaces.
